Company was commissioned by Heavy Air (Daniel Meyer-O'Keeffe, guitar/objects, Chris Beroes-Haigis, cello, Chris Paul, trombone, Rob Cosgrove, percussion/objects, Adam Zuckerman, guitar/objects). Recorded and mixed by Henry Birdsey.
This is a piece that shares its ownership and development with those who perform it; I choose about half the sounds you hear in this piece, and Heavy Air choose the rest. These fit together amongst a repeated process, the rate and ordering of which is also determined by the performers.
Company was recorded on an album with works by Daniel Meyer-O'Keeffe and Victoria Cheah, and performed on tour.
